What is it?

The production of a Scoping Report is the first stage of the SA and is an opportunity to assess available information to determine the scope and level of detail of the SA. 

Two Scoping Reports have been produced:

• A more detailed  overall Scoping report for the SA of the Minerals and Waste documents.  Following consultation this Report was revised several times and a final version was produced in September 2006.
  
• A Scoping Report for the SA of the Minerals and Waste Site Specific and Preferred Areas document
