The purpose of the Equality Impact Assessments is to see if the policies and provisions of the Core Strategy discriminate against particular persons/groups. To do this consideration must be given to the provisions of the Race Relations Act 1976 and the Race Relations (Amendment) Act 2000, the Sex Discrimination Act 1975 (as Amended) and the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 (as Amended 2005).
