What is it?

The Minerals and Waste Local Development Scheme (MWLDS) will set out a timetable for the preparation of minerals and waste development documents.

The MWLDS for Berkshire is also designed to provide information to communities and stakeholders about the current minerals and waste planning policies for the area, while informing them about how and when they can get involved in the plan-making process.

Following the withdrawal of the Core Strategy in June 2009, the MWLDS was revised and then approved by GOSE in April 2010.
